David Leistikow, M.D.
Dr. Leistikow is a native of the Iowa farmlands who continues to enjoy a country and farming lifestyle here in beautiful Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa Medical School. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Holistic Medicine as well as Brief Psychotherapy under Hypnosis. He started the Brief Psychotherapy Institute of the Rockies with Dr. Scott and Debbie Holliday. As he enjoys teaching, he holds faculty instructor positions with the University of Colorado and the Deepak Chopra Meditation Centers. As a pilot, he enjoys flying planes. He uses his body and mind medicine to sustain a happy and healthy lifestyle as a tri athlete in his spare time. He is married to Dr. Kandel and they have 3 grown children.
Elisabeth Kandel, M.D.
Dr. Kandel, a Baltimore native and University of Maryland Medical School graduate, focuses her medical advice and attention on preventative male and female medicine. Together with lifestyle modification, healthy diet, supplements and disease risk reduction, Dr. Kandel is a strong advocate for healthy living. Dr. Kandel was an avid marathoner, who participated in national marathons, including New York, Minneapolis, Chicago, Dallas and Boston. She is married to Dr. Leistikow.
Amber Adkins, PH.D
Amber Adkins, PhD, Ryt200 is a clinical psychologist and a yoga teacher whose background includes training in health psychology, neuropsychology and behavioral medicine. Her integrative clinical approach focuses on helping people better understand the mind-body connection and how to harness that power to restore emotional balance. She blends her background in counseling psychology, neuroscience and movement studies to help people maximize their potential and overall functioning.
Nick Senna, DO
Doctor Senna is a Colorado native who attended CSU for his undergraduate degree where he achieved a major in Biology with a minor in both Biomedical Sciences and Mathematics. His medical education was completed at Rocky Vista College of Osteopathic Medicine, while his residency was completed at Saint Joseph Hospital in Warren, Ohio. Before leaving Ohio Dr. Senna was the chief resident for his final year of residency, which, upon completion, allowed him to pursue his Board Certification in Family Medicine, a title he currently holds. He has, since the beginning of his training, worked heavily with indigent populations. When not working he enjoys Frisbee golf, reading and exercising.
Meighan Purk, NP
Meighen was born and raised in beautiful Colorado. She attended Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado where she attained her nursing degree. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Regis University in 2015. She brings 16 years of diverse nursing experience to her practice as a Nurse Practitioner and has a particular passion for women's health. Meighen is a devoted mother to two children and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities.
